That's the goal this month. And now for the objectives:
- Spend at least 30 minutes outside, being active, daily. (Yes, that doesn't sound hard but a lot of time doing landscape projects or photography editing is spent inside, not soaking up the Vitamin D.)
- Go on a bike ride for training at least once a week. (Cliff and I are doing a biking trip in September with his parents through Utah, which will be amazing.)
- Eat Paleo, except special occasions. If you aren't familiar with a good way to clean up your diet, check out this website: Whole30 information. It's a challenge but I bet you will feel great. Even if you don't feel like making the effort to have a rigid meal plan, at least decreasing your sugar, dairy and starch consumption will do wonders for you.
- Sleep 8 hours each night.
Moving on, the goal is in area in my life that I felt I wasn't meeting my potential. The objectives are measurable, trackable ways to meet my goal. Napoleon Hill is credited with saying, "A goal is a dream with a deadline."
The means of tracking progress will be a board per month with the goal and objectives on it. Come February, I will make a new board and add it next to January's. By the end of the year, I will have twelve little boards, all measuring different aspects to improve. I found awesome magnetic paint that I plan to put underneath my favorite, chalkboard paint. Once my first board is constructed I will post a picture.
